Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park: 1 hour south
Hike or drive through the old growth coast redwood canopy, home to the world’s tallest living trees.
Samuel Boardman State Park and Brookings-Harbor: 40-45 minutes south
Spectacular ocean scenery, sheltered “secret” beaches, and sea stacks galore. Brookings-Harbor is a working port with fun, eclectic shops and attractions.
Pacific Ocean Viewpoints: 10-40 minutes south and north
Stretching up and down the coastline, some of the most stunning scenery on the West coast.
West Coast Game Park Safari: 1 hour north
An extraordinary petting zoo of free-roaming wildlife. Be one of the first to hold and pet hand-raised baby bears, snow leopards, cougars, and more.
Old Town Bandon: 1 hour north
Enjoy shops and eateries in a cozy village setting on the waterfront.
Shore Acres State Park: 1.5 hours north
Take a picnic to this fascinating historic estate perched on oceanside cliffs. Casually stroll through gardens of both indigenous and international flora.
