A Note About Our Service Fee
At Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge, we are deeply committed to creating an exceptional experience not only for our guests, but also for the team who brings that experience to life. To support this vision, an 18% service fee is applied to all food, beverage, and room charges.
This service fee allows us to do something unprecedented in the lodge’s history since its founding in 1970: provide stable, year-round employment for our staff. It ensures a true living wage, comprehensive benefits, and the ability to retain and nurture a dedicated team across every department — from maintenance and housekeeping to our culinary and hospitality teams.
We do not accept additional gratuities, as this service fee allows us to equitably share the rewards of your stay among all who contribute to it. Your support helps sustain a culture of care, consistency, and excellence, ensuring that every detail of your experience reflects the spirit of Tu Tu’ Tun.
Thank you for being a part of this meaningful tradition.

One-night’s lodging rate requested as security deposit at point of reservation.
To cancel reservations, contact the Lodge Office directly by email or phone. Should a guest cancel via email, although we attempt to monitor emails daily, the Lodge will consider the date in which the email is received as the cancellation date – not the date in which it was sent.
14-day cancellation with fully refundable security deposit. 45-day cancellation when four or more accommodations reserved together.
Within 14-days will be subject to full forfeiture of deposit and any nights that were originally reserved (plus taxes and fees), with the exception of nights that are rebooked by the Lodge.
No-shows will be subject to full forfeiture of deposit and the entirety of the original reservation (plus taxes and fees).
Early departures will be subject to full forfeiture of the remaining nights on their original reservation (plus taxes and fees) unless the Lodge is able to rebook them.
Any modification to a reservation may result in a rate-change or additional security deposit.

A reservation is considered a no-show if a guest does not arrive on their scheduled arrival date and has not notified Tu Tu' Tun Lodge prior to check-in.
Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation will be charged the full value of their reserved stay, including all applicable taxes and fees. The reservation will then be considered canceled, and any remaining nights will be released.
No refunds, credits, or modifications will be issued for unused nights resulting from a no-show or late arrival.
If your travel plans change unexpectedly, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible. While we will always do our best to assist when availability allows, any changes remain subject to our cancellation and modification policies.

A stay at Tu Tu' Tun Lodge is often part of a larger journey. Whether you're traveling by commercial airline, charter service, rental vehicle, or scenic road trip, we understand that travel plans can occasionally change in unexpected ways.
For your peace of mind, we strongly encourage every guest to purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Many major credit cards also include trip interruption and trip cancellation benefits when travel is purchased with the card, and we recommend reviewing the coverage available through your card issuer before your trip.
Travel insurance is designed to protect you from many of the unexpected events that can affect travel, including airline delays or cancellations, severe weather, wildfires, road closures, mechanical issues, missed connections, illness, family emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.
Because these events occur outside of our control, our cancellation and modification policies remain in effect regardless of the reason for a travel disruption. Tu Tu' Tun Lodge is unable to provide refunds or waive cancellation fees for transportation delays, airline cancellations, weather events, or other interruptions that prevent or delay your arrival. Any reimbursement related to these circumstances should be pursued through your travel insurance provider, your transportation carrier, or the travel protections offered by your credit card, where applicable.
As a small, independently owned lodge with a limited number of accommodations, each reservation is carefully held exclusively for our guests. Last-minute cancellations are often impossible to refill, making comprehensive travel protection the best way to safeguard your investment while allowing us to continue providing the personalized experience for which Tu Tu' Tun is known.
Should circumstances require an exception to our published policies, any accommodation is made solely at the discretion of Tu Tu' Tun Lodge and should not be expected.
By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted these terms and understand that travel insurance and applicable credit card protections are the recommended means of protecting your trip investment.
