Food & Beverage Openings

  • POSITION TERM
    Seasonal, begins in May through end of October.

    5 days per week, 8 am to 3 pm (-ish), Part-Time from November through April, 3-5 days per week

    The Assistant F&B Director will be responsible for ensuring the proper care and operations of the day to day dining tasks in the Lodge including restaurant, lounge, room service, special events and off-premise dining. This position is responsible for overseeing and facilitating food and beverage service with a focus on quality, exceptional service, budget adherence, and accountability. Works with other departments to ensure that guests’ expectations are exceeded, and the highest quality food and service are delivered.

    Seasonal, begins in May through end of October, with the potential for additional part time hours in the winter.

    4 to 5 days per week, 5 am to 1 pm

    COMPENSATION
    Base Hourly Wage plus Hourly Gratuities (add +$2 to $6 per hour!)

    This cook position is open for a team-oriented individual with previous experience in commercial kitchens preferred, but not necessarily required. Should have a thorough cooking knowledge and food safety understanding. Daily duties include but are not limited to working with Lead Morning Cooks on breakfast entrée preparation and presentation, mixing/baking/chopping/slicing foods for routine daily guest services and occasional preparation for evening food service as requested by Executive Chef. A current Oregon-issued Food Handler Card required for employment.

    2 to 5 days per week, 7 am to 1 pm (more than one position open)

    COMPENSATION
    Base Hourly Wage plus Hourly Gratuities (add +$2 to $6 per hour!)

    Kitchen Assistants are asked to have flexible schedules in May and October when department needs may be lower, but hours are generally regular June through September during peak summer months. Individuals filling this type of position must be able to work safely and efficiently. They should be able to effectively follow verbal and written instruction of department management. The position requires one to be able to regularly lift, carry and place items weighing 25-50 lbs. General responsibilities include providing the kitchen and dining room staff with clean dishes, silverware, glasses and equipment through washing, drying, storing and organizing supplies as well as sweeping and mopping the kitchen area and emptying garbage at the end of the shift. Assistants are asked to deliver room service trays to guests, occasionally assist serving staff and prep food. A current Oregon-issued Food Handler Card required for employment.

  • POSITION TERM
    Seasonal, training begins in late April, full-time May through end of October

    5 days per week, 2 pm to 10 pm (-ish)

    COMPENSATION
    Base Hourly Wage plus Hourly Gratuities (add +$2 to $6 per hour!)

    This cook position is open for a team-oriented individual with previous experience in commercial kitchens. Should have a thorough cooking knowledge and food safety understanding. Daily duties include but are not limited to working with Executive Chef and Sous Chef on dinner menu preparation and presentation, executing the nightly hors d’ oeuvre menu under the Chef’s direction, mixing/baking/chopping/slicing foods for routine daily guest services and occasional preparation for other food service as requested by Executive Chef. A current Oregon-issued Food Handler Card required for employment.

Applicants should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills by communicating effectively in-person, have an excitement for culinary trends and presentation, understand food safety and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. Regularly lifting and carry and items weighing 10-20 lbs. is to be anticipated. Servers are asked to deliver room service trays to guests, occasionally assist in bartending (if of-age and maintains Alcohol Service Permit) and may be asked on occasion to help prep food. A current Oregon-issued Food Handler Card is required and Alcohol Service Permit is highly desired.

    This serving position is open for a personable individual with a keen desire to work on a team dedicated to maintaining our industry’s highest level of service. Applicants should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills by communicating effectively in-person, have an excitement for culinary trends and presentation, understand food safety and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. Regularly lifting and carry and items weighing 10-20 lbs. is to be anticipated. Bartenders should have general beverage service experience and beer, wine and spirits knowledge. In addition to bar service to guests, they will assist servers and hosts to ensuring a smooth flow of delivery to guests in the Dining Room and throughout property. They may also be asked to assist with occasional food service to guests in the Dining Room or in-room food and beverage delivery. A current Oregon-issued Food Handler Card is required and Alcohol Service Permit is required.

Housekeeping Openings

  • POSITION TERM

    We seek a person with housekeeping experience looking to help lead a department dedicated to maintaining our industry’s highest level of cleanliness and service. A commitment to integrity and ethics is also very important. Applicants should demonstrate interpersonal skills that will allow them to communicate effectively with their manager, team and other department managers. The person filling this position must be able to work safely with efficiency and speed and should be able to provide clear verbal and written instruction to their staff and other colleagues. General responsibilities are to ensure the Lodge and all guest accommodations are cleaned daily based on company standards. The Assistant Manager works alongside the Manager and the staff, but when the Manager is off, the Assistant is to facilitate, delegate and oversee the duties to the housekeeping staff in order to accomplish these daily routine cleanings and laundry services. Additional responsibilities will include helping the Manager train housekeeping, laundry and turn-down staff, supervise how all housekeeping supplies are used, as well as working in partnership with our Maintenance Department to monitor supplies and linen’s inventories.

    Individuals filling this type of position must be able to work safely with efficiency and speed and should be able to effectively follow verbal and written instruction of department management. General responsibilities are to clean the Lodge’s indoor common areas and all accommodations daily, be trained and prepared to perform evening turn-down service (not required, but in the case of emergencies), deliver supplies to guests, work with Lodge laundry, guest laundry, uniform laundry, folding and ironing and use cleaning supplies.

  • POSITION TERM
    Seasonal, begins on May 1 through end of October

    HOURS
    2 to 5 days per week, 5:45 pm to 9 pm (-ish) with possibility of extending shift from 2 pm to 9 pm June through October (more than one position open)

    COMPENSATION
    Base Hourly Wage plus Hourly Gratuities (add +$2 to $6 per hour!)

    Individuals filling this type of position must be able to work safely with efficiency and speed and should be able to effectively follow verbal and written instruction of department management. General responsibilities are to provide a nightly routine turndown service to all accommodations daily, which includes light housekeeping in guest rooms, delivering and presenting evening treat to guest rooms, turning down the guest rooms and restocking for following day. Beginning in June, this position has the potential to provide additional hours, arriving midday to work independently as the housekeeping staff wrap up their morning shifts, to assist with Lodge laundry, guest laundry, uniform laundry, folding and ironing, restocking and other light housekeeping as instructed by the department management.

Maintenance & Grounds Openings

  • POSITION TERM
    Seasonal, begins in mid-April through beginning of November (Part-time hours may be available throughout winter depending on need and the “right” fit between the individual and management)

    HOURS
    5 days per week, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

    COMPENSATION
    Base Hourly Wage plus Hourly Gratuities (add +$2 to $6 per hour!)

    Individuals interested should enjoy working outdoors, regardless of the weather conditions. Although not required, it is preferred candidates have a horticultural background including plant identification and general botanical knowledge. Filling this position requires the ability to work independently, but also interact with guests. Candidates should be able to regularly lift, carry and haul items weighing 25-50 lbs. General responsibilities include but are not limited to weeding, deadheading, watering, performing other grounds keeping maintenance duties as needed, as well as operating and maintaining grounds keeping equipment and power tools.

  • POSITION TERM
    Seasonal, begins in early-June through late-September

    4 days per week, 9 am to 4 pm

    COMPENSATION
    Base Hourly Wage plus Hourly Gratuities (add +$2 to $6 per hour!)

    Individuals interested should enjoy working outdoors, regardless of the weather conditions, and be able to effectively follow verbal and written instruction of department management and groundskeeping leaders. Filling this position requires the ability to work independently, but also interact with guests. Candidates should be able to regularly lift, carry and haul items weighing 25-50 lbs. General responsibilities include but are not limited to weeding, deadheading, watering, performing other grounds keeping maintenance duties as needed, as well as operating and maintaining grounds keeping equipment and power tools. This Assistant may, on rare occasions, be asked to help other maintenance colleagues with guest luggage during check-out and check-in times.

Office Openings

    COMPENSATION
    Base Hourly Wage plus Hourly Gratuities (add +$2 to $6 per hour!)

    This office position is open for a personable individual with a keen desire to work on a team dedicated to maintaining our industry’s highest level of service. Applicants should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills by communicating effectively in-person, via phone or through email and showcase aptitude with respect to word processing and data entry. General responsibilities include answering phones, providing one-on-one guest services, processing reservations in customer relationship management software, assist with light bartending and occasional food service when needed. Although not required, some restaurant or bar service experience is considered a “plus”. A current Oregon-issued Food Handler Card and Alcohol Service Permit are both required for employment.

  • POSITION TERM
    Seasonal, training begins in early-April, regular hours May through end of October (Part-time hours may be available throughout winter depending on need and the “right” fit between the individual and management)

    3 or 4 evenings per week, 2:00 pm to 11 pm (-ish) (potential for occasional short shifts on Saturday evenings)

    This position is a leadership position combining office and food/beverage service in the late afternoon and evenings. It is open for a personable individual with a keen desire to work on a team dedicated to maintaining our industry’s highest level of service. Applicants should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills by communicating effectively in-person, via phone or through email and showcase aptitude with respect to word processing and data entry. General responsibilities include answering phones, providing one-on-one guest services, processing reservations in customer relationship management software, bartending and leadership of front of the house food and beverage service. Experience is considered a “plus”. A current Oregon-issued Food Handler Card and Alcohol Service Permit are both required for employment.
