Most Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge departments hire employees on a seasonal basis. We are primarily looking for employees who are available April through October. Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge is currently accepting applications for the position of Sous Chef. This is a leadership role that recently became available; therefore, we intend to fill the position immediately. If you are interested, please contact us!
The Sous Chef position offers full-time hours during our 6-month season (May through October). Given our unique, traditional style of dining service, this is wonderful opportunity for an individual either seeking to build on their resume or simply work half-a-year in a reputable kitchen.
Upon hiring, the Sous Chef will begin with one-on-one training alongside our Executive Chef, transitioning from training to regular hours shortly thereafter. The position will wrap-up on or just after October 31, when our kitchen and dining room close for dinner service. This is a competitively salaried position. The salary offered and potential incentive pay will depend on applicants’ experience.
Applicants should be team-oriented and enjoy working with others. Previous commercial kitchen experience is appropriately necessary, and even though leadership/management experience is preferred, please know it is not required. A background in culinary education is highly desired but also not required.
